About Mom

My name is Angela and I am the proud mom of the two active little boys featured in this blog. I work as the Creative Strategy Director for Guideposts, a prominent publisher of inspirational books, magazines and music. I love my job and the freedom it allows me to be an involved, active mom.

In my spare time, I like to be the artist of my life.  I love photographing my children, writing, painting, scrap booking, interior decorating and cooking.  (Just seeing if my friends are paying attention—I actually don't cook!)  I workout regularly and recently started running.  Proudly, last summer I ran my first 5K!  I started playing golf a few years ago too, but haven't made much progress. Thankfully I have very patient golf partners!

I am surrounded by an amazing family who lives close by and are as much a part of my children's lives as me and their dad are.  It really does take a village!  People often ask me how I do it and my short answer is, "My Mom"!  She's my everyday hero and the reason that I look like I do it all with such ease! 

And, then there are my girlfriends (MY village), who are there for me as life twists and turns around unexpected bends.  They are an eclectic group of women who keep me grounded and make me feel supported in all that I do (or choose not to).  Each one offers me unconditional love and gracefully shares their talents, time and treasures with me and my family.
